Theatre Raleigh to Present FOX ON THE FAIRWAY, 7/10-21

By:

Theatre Raleigh presents Fox on the Fairway, a charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with... golf. The show runs Wednesday, July 10 and runs through Sunday, July 21 at Kennedy Theater at the Duke Energy Center and is part of the Hot Summer Nights Series.

"What happens when the perfect plan to win a desperately needed trophy goes awry? The Fox On the Fairway is a hilarious romp which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of dueling private country clubs. Filled with hijinks, higher stakes, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it's a furiously paced roller coaster ride full of surprises, recalling the classic screwball comedies of another era," said Michael Morotta,Director.

Michael Morotta (Director) directs John Allore (Henry Bingham), Lynda Clark (Pamela Peabody), Robbie Gay (Justin Hicks), Kaila Merrill (Louise Heindbedder), John Heinis* (Dickie Bell) and Paulina Cobrda (Muriel Bingham) in this madcap comedy by Ken Ludwig.

The plot features the 43rd annual grudge match between rival golf clubs, thrown for a loop when the best golfer switches teams on the eve of the competition. It's a hilarious romp with classic elements like mistaken identities, huge consequences riding on the match's outcome, marriages on the brink of disaster, and secret romantic shenanigans that recalls the Marx Brothers in their heyday.

Lauren Kennedy (Artistic Director), Alan Campbell (Exec Director) and Michele Weathers (Managing Director) have once again assembled an amazing cast and crew.

The shows creative team includes Alex van Blommestein (Set Designer), Will Mikes (Sound Design), Chris Bernier (Lighting Design) Liz Ray(Assistant Director), Mike McGee (Stage Manager), Denise Schumaker (Costume Designer) and Eileen Tack (Prop Master).

Additional crew includes Steph Byrd (TD Intern), Alexis Van Venrooy (Assistant Stage Manager), Morgan Parpan (Management Assistant), Sawyer Stone (Run Crew), Mary Hopkins (Run Crew) and Kyle Ulsh (Graphics Design Intern).

Tickets range from $22-$30 and can be purchased at http://www.theatreraleigh.com.
