RLT's BLITHE SPIRIT Opens 6/6

Nöel Coward's Blithe Spirit opens this Friday, June 6th in the Cantey V. Sutton Theatre. This will be RLT's second production of the play, most recently produced in the 1945-46 season.

The cast features several newcomers including John Allore as Charles and Marilyn Gormon as Madame Arcati. Page Purgar, Izzy Burger and Anne-Caitlin Donohue return to RLT's stage, and John Paul Middlesworth and Kelly McConkey make their debuts as Dr. and Mrs. Bradman. Tony Lea, who has previously acted at RLT but never directed, makes his directorial debut.

On Thursday, June 19, RLT will co-host the second "Out at RLT" with the LGBT Center of Raleigh, featuring a beer tasting by Fortnight Brewing, which specializes in English style ales, and Big Mike's Barbeque. RLT's Stephenson Amphitheatre will host three concerts - Raleigh Concert Band (June 8), Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra (June 15) and the Johnny Folsom 4 (June 29).

Tickets for all events at RLT can be purchased by calling the box office (919)-821-3111, Monday through Friday, noon-5 PM, or by visiting the theatre's website at www.raleighlittletheatre.org. Blithe Spirit runs from June 6-22. Performances are at 8pm, Thursday through Saturday, and at 3pm on Sunday. Tickets are $20 for Adults and $16 for Seniors/Students. Tickets for the first Sunday (June 8) are only $12.
