Al Pacino Comes to DPAC 5/20

One of the greatest actors in film history, Al Pacino comes to DPAC on Friday, May 20th, 2011 for A Once in a Lifetime Event with Al Pacino- ONE NIGHT ONLY! Join us as he shares his passion for acting and directing with film clips, including some never before seen footage. Sharing backstage tales from a lifetime in the world of theatre & film, Pacino will reveal the inner workings of his most personal work and will end with a question and answer session with the audience. The two part set will include a moderated creative process interview during the first half. The second half includes a one-man show where Pacino embodies some of the most memorable characters from his career.

Al Pacino has created some of the most unforgettable character portrayals in cinematic history. Starring in over forty films that include The Godfather Trilogy, Dog Day Afternoon, Scarface, Serpico, Sea of Love, Dick Tracy, Heat, and Scent of a Woman, to name a few. Pacino is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner for his performance in Angels in America and most recently You Don't Know Jack for HBO. He is an 8 time Academy Award nominee and Tony and Oscar award winner. His commitment to acting as a profession and his constant screen dominance has established him as one of American cinema's true legends.
