The Merry Wives of Windsor at Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre

Set in a 1920's speakeasy, Sir John Falstaff, a knight short of money, attempts to seduce two wealthy married women, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page, by sending them identical love letters to gain access to their husbands' fortunes. The women discover the scheme, realize the letters are the same, and decide to teach Falstaff a lesson by playing tricks on him.

Falstaff's attempts to meet the women result in humiliating pranks, including being dumped into a river inside a laundry basket and disguised as an old woman, whom the jealous husband Frank Ford (disguised as "Master Brook") beats. Meanwhile, a subplot involves Anne Page, who is pursued by three suitors—Slender, Doctor Caius, and Fenton—but she secretly loves Fenton.
