L.E.A.P. (Ludicrously Expedited Acts of Playwriting) is Portland's instant play festival, presented by PDX Playwrights as part of Fertile Ground 2026. On Friday, April 17, audience members provide prompts to six local playwrights, who are then randomly assigned actors and given exactly 48 hours to write, direct, and fully stage a short play. The completed works are performed the following Sunday night, April 19, at Chapel Theatre in Milwaukie.
