In BeTween is a new musical that chronicles a year in the lives of twelve tweens as they navigate the ups and downs of middle school at Roselawn Middle School. With a focus on friendship, identity, and the challenges of growing up, the story features an engaging mix of humor and relatable moments through its infectious songs and ensemble-driven comedy. The musical is directed by Bradley Behrmann, with music by Nicky Phillips and lyrics by Sarah Ziegler, showcasing a celebration of self-discovery and finding one's voice. This production is part of The Loop Festival, which emphasizes the development of Young Adult Theatre by connecting playwrights and young adult actors in an interactive setting.
