ANASTASIA” tells the captivating legend of the Lost Romanov Princess who struggles to remember her identity after her entire family is executed by revolutionaries. Dashing con artist Dmitry finds Anya the perfect subject for his ultimate con: presenting a fake “Anastasia” to the Dowager Empress in Paris. Zealous Soviet Official Gleb pursues Anya from Russia to France, hoping to finish the job his father started. Will Dmitry and his friend Vlad be able to pass off Anya as the real princess? Will Anya ever remember who she really is?

Based on the 1997 animated motion picture, the 2016 stage version of “ANASTASIA” introduces 16 brand-new songs by the original team of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, while still featuring many of the beloved songs from the film, including “Journey to the Past,” “Paris Holds the Key,” “A Rumor in St. Petersburg,” and “Once Upon A December.

Directed and Choreographed by Erica Bury, Music-Directed by Kristin Ryerson, and Produced by Tianna Eddy, One Eleven Theatre’s production of "ANASTASIA" boasts opulent scenery ranging from the Romanov Palace to a Parisian Speakeasy, beautiful costumes, lavish harmonies, and high-energy dance numbers, including an excerpt from “Swan Lake,” when Anya attends the Ballet in hopes of meeting her Grandmother. The show features a talented cast of over 40 local actors, singers, and dancers of all ages, in addition to a live on-stage orchestra conducted by Ron Strom.

The artistic designers behind the show include father-daughter duo John & Alexa Sleadd leading the Set Design team, Brandon McCowan as Costume Designer, Connor Pylant as Light Designer, Stephanie Bruhn as Sound Designer, and Emily Ward as Prop Designer, with Rachel Kostrna serving as Stage Manager.
