Portland Ovations to Present WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT, 4/5

Portland Ovations brings a fun-filled adaptation of Michael Rosen's award-winning book We're Going on a Bear Hunt to Merrill Auditorium for a Saturday morning Family Series performance on April 5th at 11 am.

Michael Rosen's award-winning book We're Going On A Bear Hunt is brought vividly and rambunctiously to the stage in director Sally Cookson's fun-filled adaptation set to Benji Bower's versatile lively score. Join the intrepid adventurers on their quest to find a bear; as they wade through the gigantic swishy swashy grass, the splishy splashy river and the thick oozy, squelchy mud. A performance filled with catchy songs, interactive scenes and plenty of hands-on adventure - plus a few special surprises! The Guardian calls it, "A fun-filled frolic." True fun for the whole family this production is recommended for families with children 3-8 years old.
