Photo Flash: First Look at Lakewood Theatre Company's GREATER TUNA, Begin. 7/12

Join the Lakewood Theatre Company in meeting the fine citizens of Greater Tuna as Lakewood Theatre kicks off summer with the rollicking comedy Greater Tuna, the hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. Check out a first look below!

The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers (Jay Randall Horenstein and Gary Brickner-Schulz), making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna - men, women, children and animals.

Greater Tuna, written by Jaston Williams, Ed Howard and Joe Sears, is directed by Steve Knox. Lakewood's production opens Friday, July 12 and continues until August 18 with the following performance schedule: Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 7:00 PM (July 14, 21 and 28) and Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM (July 21, August 4, 11 and 18. The show sponsor is The Lakewood Center Associates.

The theatre is located at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street in Lake Oswego. Ticket prices are $32 for adults and $30 for seniors. Additional discounts are available for groups and students.
Special promotion: On Saturday July 13 or Sunday July 14, see the show at a discounted price for a promotion we're calling"Two-Can Tuna" tickets. See the show for $25 and a donation of two cans of tuna (or any two cans of food). Items collected will be donated to the Oregon Food Bank. Contact the Lakewood Theatre Box Office at 503-635-3901 directly for this offer. All other tickets many be ordered by phone at 503-635-3901 or order securely online at www.lakewood-center.org.
