Some surprises are too hard to handle! Kitty doesn't want a smelly new dog, a drooling new baby, or Uncle Murray's unusual cat sitting. Kitty just wants to have Kitty's world back to normal. A world that revolves around the most important creature in Kitty's life ... KITTY.

Bad Kitty: On Stage is based on the New York Times bestselling book series by Nick Bruel (winner of 2012 and 2013 Children's Choice Awards). "The Bad Kitty book series is hilarious! I laughed out loud when I read them. It's been exciting to see the script develop with each new draft, weaving together multiple Bad Kitty stories while keeping all the comedic chaos of the books. The characters will really come to life with this talented, fun, and creative cast." - Director Dani Baldwin

Oregon Children's Theatre is thrilled to partner again with Bay Area Children's Theatre on this world premiere. Previously the two companies collaborated on creating Magic School Bus Live. OCT has built a reputation as a valuable partner with other theater companies nationwide.

Audience members are invited to come early to performances and participate in a fun pre-show craft activity by Art a la Carte. They are also welcome to stay after the show to meet the cast and get their playbills autographed!

The cast features Katie Michels as Kitty; Lucas Welsh as Puppy; James Sharinghousen as Human; Alan King as Uncle Murray; Jill Westerby as Mouse, Stinky Kitty, and Baby; Alex Lankford as Strange Kitty and Fantasticat; Allie Menzimer as Chatty Kitty and Nightmare Teacher; Stephen Thompson as the Pianist; and Joe Bolenbaugh as the Narrator.

The creative team includes: Dani Baldwin (Director), Kristeen Willis Crosser (Scenic Designer), Sarah Gahagan (Costume Designer), Jennifer Lin (Lighting Designer), John Berendzen (Sound Designer), and Drew Dannhorn (Props Master).
