The cast includes Mad Horse Company Members Tootie Van Reenen, Brent Askari and David Currier, former Mad Horse company member Kathleen Kimball as well as guest artists Denise Poirier and Janice Gardiner.

The design team for Dead Man's Cell Phone includes company member Jennifer Halm-Perazone (Stage Manager), Liz Chambers (Props) and Christine Marshall (costumes.) Former company member Joan Sand designs lights.

Mad Horse Company member Lisa Muller-Jones introduced Sarah Ruhl to Maine audiences in last season's highly-acclaimed production of The Clean House. She returns this season to direct Dead Man's Cell Phone. "We are honored to bring Sarah Ruhl's work back to Mad Horse this year, and so fortunate to have such a gifted group working on this production." Says Muller-Jones. An incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café - a stranger at the next table who has had enough- and a dead man with a lot of loose ends - so begins Dead Man's Cell Phone. Dead Man's Cell Phone is a wildly imaginative new comedy written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Sarah Ruhl.

Dead Man's Cell Phone is a work about how we memorialize the dead, and how that remembering changes us. It is the odyssey of a woman forced to confront her own assumptions about mortality, redemption, and the need to connect in a technology-obsessed world.
