The world premiere of a new solo show, HUMAN IDENTITY, will run today and tomorrow, December 27th & 28th at COHO Theater (Portland).

Performer and writer Christopher Vened brings his inventive, funny and eye-opening new work to the COHO Theater in Portland. One of the most sacred taboos in theater is broken when mime and spoken word unite in the World Premiere of his solo show "Human Identity".

Vened was a star of Henryk Tomaszewski's world-famous Wroclaw Pantomime Theater until he defected to the west while on tour in West Germany.

In the decades since, he's become an influential force in the worlds of performance and training, writing a key textbook and teaching at UCLA. His latest piece of "monodrama theatre" is nothing less than a quest to figure out the meaning of human identity.

Performances are 7:30pm, Friday, December 27th and Saturday, December 28th.
