Musical Theatre of Anthem has announced their upcoming production of Chicago Teen Edition. In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap... until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie.

Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream": fame, fortune, and acquittal.

The cast, comprised of award-winners and nominees ages 14-18, presents the show May 9 – May 12, 2024, in Anthem. The award-winning production staff includes Co-Director Jim Gradillas, Vocal Director Jackie Hammond, Choreographer Lyndsie Clymer, and Production Stage Manager Jessica Kishbaugh.

Performances take place Thursday – Sunday at Musical Theatre of Anthem's performance space, located at 42201 N. 41st Drive, Suite B100, Anthem, AZ  85086.
