Set against the backdrop of the 19th-century revolutionary France, LES MISERABLES has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide in 42 countries and in 22 languages. It tells the epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit, which boasts a magnificent score including “I Dreamed A Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “Do You Hear the People Sing?” “One Day More,” “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” and “Master of the House.”
Two familiar names, Nigel Huckle and Laurence Mossman, have made the list released by GWB Entertainment and GMG Productions, which unveiled the complete cast of 'Miss Saigon.'
Eliza Schuyler Hamilton, the wife of Alexander, 'who lived, died, and told their story,' 50 years after the death of her husband, closes the show, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s 'Hamilton,' with hands clasped on her chest, and an ambiguous gasp. Ask any actress who played Eliza what the hard breathing was; each one would give a vague answer because it was a different moment every time for each one.
'Filipinos are one of the friendliest and most thoughtful people I know. I instantly warmed up to them when I landed in Manila. That's why it was sad when we were forced to cut our stay short.' a?' Hayden Tee
Hayden Tee, who played Javert in the Broadway revival of Cameron Mackintosh's production of Les Miserables, revisits the role of Miss Trunchbull in the international tour of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical.
Back in Manila from his two-year stint as Thuy in the UK/Ireland and International tour of 'Miss Saigon,' Gerald Santos is now a certified crossover artist. In his homecoming concert last Saturday, May 4, at the Theatre at Solaire, Santos filled his repertoire with songs from musical theater and from movie musicals that have also crossed over to the pop charts.
Everyone knows the musical all too well. At least for those who were already breathing theater when The Phantom of the Opera opened in London's West End in 1986, and on Broadway in 1988.
