The Philadelphia Orchestra has announced updates to its 2026-27 season, including four new family concerts, five performances at Carnegie Hall, and a Philadelphia debut from Assistant Conductor Sara Aldana.
The Philadelphia Orchestra named Sara Aldana as its new assistant conductor, succeeding Naomi Woo. A Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship mentee and former Detroit Symphony Orchestra cover conductor, Aldana will make her debut leading Wonderful Waltzes.
