John, an irascible Scotsman, and Maude, an uptight Englishwoman, take on the journey of a lifetime. They are brought together when his ward marries her niece. When the young couple decides to adopt a newborn, the older couple must travel 6,000 miles to California to pick up the child. The problem: John and Maude despise each other. Even worse, they get stranded in San Francisco with the newborn. Working together, they learn some startling lessons about life and love.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, students, and children under 12. They are available at the door or online at dcptheatre.org. Groups of 10 or more may contact the box office by emailing boxoffice@dcptheatre.com for a reduced rate. Show runs from March 13-22, 2026.
