Convergence Ballet presents The Nutcracker at the Herberger Theater Center for a heartwarming holiday performance on December 14 and 15. The production features a cast led by Samantha Gray as the Sugar Plum Fairy, JR Lagunas as her Cavalier, and Cecelia Smith as the Snow Queen, with Alexander Patrick portraying the enigmatic Drosselmeyer. Rising talents from the Ballet Theatre of Phoenix, including Pippa Blair and Layla Martinez, will alternate in the role of Clara, enriching this beloved classic with youthful energy. Artistic Director Jennifer Cafarella-Betts choreographs this enchanting tale, ensuring a captivating experience for audiences of all ages.
