The Crossing, conducted by Donald Nally, performs a program examining social justice themes through commissioned works. The concert features a world premiere by Canadian composer Nicole Lizée alongside works by David Lang, Shara Nova, Julia Wolfe, Michael Gordon, Edie Hill, Caroline Shaw, and Gabriel Jackson. Presented by ArtPhilly as part of the What Now: 2026 Festival, the program forms a musical quilt reflecting on the current state of American society, the environment, and displaced communities.
