Presented by the Powder Mill Foundation in Honor of Josephine S. and Louis J. Appell. Jr. The Strand Theatre is turning 100 years old, and what better way to celebrate in style than with two fabulous leading ladies of Broadway stage and screen, accompanied by none other than the acclaimed York Symphony Orchestra. Inspired by the 1962 CBS special Julie and Carol at Carnegie Hall, the incomparable Sutton Foster and Kelli O’Hara present a tribute to Broadway and beyond. Together with conductor Lawrence Golan and the YSO, Foster and O’Hara pay homage to icons Julie Andrews and Carol Burnett, who teamed up for that memorable night in NYC. You’ll hear favorites from Foster and O’Hara’s Tony Award-winning and nominated shows and in between, lots of bubbly banter, laughter and stories you’ll love.
Appell Center for the Performing Arts is at 50 N. George Street, York, PA.
