Late Nite Catechism, a BTE/CMVB Presented Event. at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble

In this uproariously funny and interactive play, audiences find themselves taking a class with an irrepressible Sister. Throughout the course, the benevolent instructor rewards the "students" for correct answers with glow-in-the-dark rosaries and other nifty prizes. Naughty students may well find themselves on stage sitting in a corner reflecting their actions. However, even the most reluctant "students" will be clamoring to get into this Sister's class. 

This is Late Nite Catechism’s second time at BTE. The long-running tour originally stopped at BTE in 2014. Since its start in 1993, Late Nite Catechism has been earning rave reviews. The New York Times even called Late Nite Catechism, “interactive theater at its best and full of laughs!”

Late Nite Catechism is the next show in the 2026 BTE/CMVB Presented Events series. As an ensemble theatre company, BTE employs its Resident Artists as full-time staff and the creative force behind each season. The Presented Event series brings visiting artists to perform their original work on the BTE stage separate from the mainstage season.
