F***ed Up Fairytales at Asian Arts Initiative – Third Floor

An interactive, 21+ comedy in which the audience chooses which three fairy tales come to life each night through gameplay and real-time interaction. Reimagined tales include Hansel and Gretel as a manga saga, The White Snake as a raunchy slapstick comedy, Rumpelstiltskin as a film noir, Rapunzel as a spy adventure, and Little Red Riding Hood as horror. The production features David Anthony Anderson, Eric Austin, Orlando Rodriguez, Ally Harwell, Rick Benson, Laura Walter, and Kiki Dowell. Written by Michael Hagins and co-directed by Akia Squitieri and Rachael Langton, the show previously won the Audience Choice Award and Sold Out Award at the 2025 New York City Fringe Festival.
