After becoming a beacon for musicians in Lancaster, PA and beyond, TONE TAILORS now expands and re-locates to a 4,000-square foot space inside Pod #2 of the mammoth touring industry rehearsal hub Rock Lititz--just 15 minutes north in Lititz, PA. The grand opening of the musical instrument store will take place on September 8, hosted by the three co-founders: LIVE guitarist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Chad Taylor; John LeClair; and Jon Paul "JP" Painton.

Following two successful years as a Lancaster staple, the expansion sees TONE TAILORS blossom into the ultimate creative hive triple the size of the original. Notably, preeminent guitar rig designer Bob Bradshaw--who counts U2's The Edge among regular clients--has transported his company CUSTOM AUDIO ELECTRONICS from Los Angeles to the new Rock Lititz location inside of TONE TAILORS, placing him in the heart of this community. In addition, marking a first, lessons will be available on-site for guitar, bass, drums, piano, and vocals taught by 10 seasoned veteran instructors as well as recording 101 classes courtesy of JP.

In this new move, the guitar inventory of TONE TAILORS expands dramatically as the company continues to support homegrown companies PRS (two hours south), Martin Guitars (two hours north), and more in addition to Fender. Simultaneously, the locale--which sells many popular, sought-after items--maintains many traditions for Taylor, LeClair, and JP, namely featuring rare brands such as Nash Guitars, Reverend, and Supro, providing artists a creative spot to talk shop, and a fridge forever stocked with cold beer...

"There was a hole in the marketplace that wasn't being covered by other stores," comments Taylor. "I believed in the vision LeClair and JP shared with me. Together, we made TONE TAILORS a reality. After two years, we outgrew the initial space. Rock Lititz was perfect for us! It's actually so perfect, I convinced Bob to up and leave L.A. and move to Lancaster, PA. We've got something very special here together. I can't wait to hang with everyone at this location."

"We've learned a lot about the industry and our customer base by listening to their constant feedback and having many conversations with them," adds JP. "We've been able to lock in an amazing family of clients by providing the best services we possibly can. It's been mind-blowing how quickly everything happened. Chad has been a massive part of that."

"With everything we've got now and all of the options, we really can live up to the name," says LeClair. "We're giving clients everything they can to tailor their tone to perfection. We have so many items you can't get anywhere else. People come back and they know we carry hand-built products of the highest quality. It's why we're TONE TAILORS."

As the story goes, Taylor linked up with manager JP and luthier LeClair by virtue of frequenting their previous shop. They presented the idea for TONE TAILORS to the guitarist. A self-proclaimed "serial entrepreneur" who's successfully launched multiple startups, Taylor jumped at the opportunity to partner, spearheading a capital raise and providing infrastructure to first open doors in 2015. Since then, it's remained crucial to the nervous ecosystem of the Pennsylvania scene and the world at large with its impressive online store.

In joining forces with TONE TAILORS, Custom Audio Electronics brings a new level of excitement to the musical community of Rock Lititz, PA. "After 35-plus years in Los Angeles designing and building world-class guitar systems for some of the world's leading players, I was looking for a change," says Bob Bradshaw of Custom Audio Electronics. "When I reached out to my friend and client Chad Taylor, he said 'I have the place, just get here and we'll sort it out.' So I put my trust in him and did just that. To be a part of the Rock Lititz community and sharing space with the Tone Tailors guys is just what I needed. I'm looking forward to an exciting new chapter in the Custom Audio Electronics saga!"

In the end, TONE TAILORS fittingly brings things full circle for Chad Taylor, a man who forever remains synonymous with the area music scene.

"TONE TAILORS is a way for me to connect with local musicians and emerging artists that I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to," Taylor leaves off. "This scene is where I came from. There's a unity of users. It's a place to hang. There's an amazing vibe. You'd be surprised by the number of working regular cats who totally live, eat, and breath music. This is for them."
