"Joseph," an epic, timeless story of the power of forgiveness, opens at the Millennium Theatre in Lancaster, Pa., on March 6, 2010. This new original musical from Sight & Sound Theatres®, the nation's largest Christian theatre company and one of the most-attended live theatres on the East Coast, promises all of the unique and visionary production qualities you can expect from a Sight & Sound creation.

This $3 million production of "Joseph" features:
-- a state-of-the-art fly rig that allows audiences to witness Joseph's
dreams come to life as he soars 45-feet above the audience
-- flight sequences choreographed by Broadway aerial choreographer Paul
Rubin (credits include Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby, Wicked, and
Curtains with David Hyde Pierce)
-- an epic soundtrack with 13 original songs by composer Don Harper
(credits include National Treasure, National Treasure 2, Disney's Lion
King 1 1/2)
-- over 70 elaborate set pieces, including 30-foot-high Egyptian palaces,
featured on a 300-foot stage that wraps around three sides of the
audience
-- dozens of live and exotic animals
-- a family-friendly script appropriate for all ages
-- several large-scale and interactive production numbers
-- Sight & Sound's own interpretation of Joseph's colorful coat

"We believe Joseph's inspiring journey and the restoration of his family is especially relevant today and will speak to our audiences on so many levels," said Josh Enck, producer and co-writer of the show.

As the production team at Sight & Sound worked to build the sets, create the music and bring the story of Joseph to the stage, visitors have been allowed to track the progress on a special web site created to allow a behind-the-scenes look (www.sight-sound.com/joseph).

"Joseph" runs from March 6 through October 30, 2010. Tickets to "Joseph" may be purchased by visiting the website (www.sight-sound.com) or by calling 800-377-1277.

Sight & Sound Theatres, described by some as "the Christian Broadway," has theatres in Lancaster, Pa., and Branson, Mo.
