Second Saturday and South Philly Fest Present Live Music, Sidewalk Sales and More This Weekend

Fall is a perfect time to shop, rock and stroll your way down East Passyunk Avenue. This weekend, double your fun with Second Saturday today, October 12, 2013 and South Philly Fest on Sunday, October 13, 2013.

Second Saturday will feature a home tour, rack sales, sidewalk specials, art openings, kids' costume swap, live music and complimentary fall treats. Hours vary by location.

South Philly Fest by Lucky 13 Pub will take place from 12:00pm to 6:00pm outside of1820 S. 13th Street) featuring six bands, Sweet Jane Vintage, Kung Fu Hoagies, Little Baby's Ice Cream and other vendors.

Passyunk Square Civic Association Home Tour - Annual Home Tour brings you to ten fabulous homes, includes a free slice of cheese pizza at SliCE and admission/free drink at the after party at Devil's Den. Tickets at registration $25 at Columbus Square Recreation Center. 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Frame Fatale (1813 EPA) - Opening reception for Marker Magic, an exhibition fundraiser of drawings by local artist Kate Kern Mundie. What started as a few sketches using her children's art supplies has turned into a fully-fledged art form for this South Philadelphia-based artist. Many of the drawings depict scenes in Passyunk Square and other locations from West Virginia and Cape Cod to Paris. A third of all sales will benefit Andrew Jackson Elementary School. Lunchbox-themed refreshments will be served during this family friend event. 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Nicole Rae Styer (1822 EPA) - Girls Night Out featuring fabulous one-of-a-kind fashions by NRS, Studio 320 Jewelry Trunk Show by Gretchen McHale, make-up demos by Michelle Cusanno, plus wine and chocolate. 5:00pm to 8:00pm

Occasionette (1825 EPA) - Enjoy free samples of unique seasonal cocktails prepared with Art in the Age spirits. The first 50 guests will get an adorable set of recipe cards featuring these cocktails and more to take home.
