Bucks County Playhouse's second production of the summer season, the high-energy Rock & Roll musical 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story' directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster with choreography by Lorin Latarro. This show been seen by over 22 million people worldwide, and is hailed as the most successful rock musical of all time. 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story' opened at Bucks County Playhouse (70 S. They completed the feat after the August 28th show, in front of an enthusiastic audience, in turn challenging their Icelandic artistic directors, Josh Sassanella and the entire company of ROCK OF AGES on Broadway. The concept recording for REVOLUTION IN THE ELBOW OF RAGNAR AGNARSSON FURNITURE PAINTER is now available through iTunes. NYC's Rockwood Music Hall hosted a special launch party for the recording on July 15th featuring a concert by an all-star lineup of Icelandic artists including Liam McCormick (The Family Crest), Soffia Bjorg and Stefan Örn Gunnlaugsson. Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Kate Shindle are set to head the cast of Revolution in the Elbow of Ragnar Agnarsson Furniture Painter, a new musical with book, music & lyrics by Ívar Pall Jonsson, based on a story by Ívar and Gunnlaugur Jonsson. Performances will begin July 28th, with the official Opening Night on Wednesday, August 13th at the Minetta Lane Theatre, 18 Minetta Lane (just a few steps from Sixth Ave., one block south of W. 3rd St.)
