The August Wilson Theatre was the place to be last night as Mean Girls officially opened on Broadway! How would we describe the night in one word? Fetch!

Tina Fey appeared on CBS Sunday Morning this morning to talk about how bringing Mean Girls to Broadway is a dream come true.

Mean Girls opens on Broadway this Sunday, April 8 at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). The musical features a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the film, music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.
