Before she takes off to Hollywood for her debut screen role in the Stephen Spielberg WEST SIDE STORY remake, New Jersey's Rachel Zegler has one last high school musical to perform, Shrek the Musical!

Last night, Rita Moreno joined her 'One Day at a Time' costar Justina Machado and creator Gloria Calderon on the 'Busy Tonight' couch. During the interview, Moreno talks playing Lydia on the Netflix remake of the hit '70s show and she even divulges some information about the upcoming reboot of 'West Side Story'!

Rita Moreno stopped by the SiriusXM studios to talk  about the upcoming season of Netflix's One Day At A Time. While at the SiriusXM studios Moreno sat down with SiriusXM host Jessica Shaw where they discussed the new West Side Story.  

BroadwayWorld announced Monday new casting for Steven Spielberg's adaption of West Side Story including newcomer Rachel Zegler as Maria. BroadwayWorld was able to find footage of Zegler performing one of the show's most memorable songs.

The upcoming remake of WEST SIDE STORY directed by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by Tony Kushner has announced additional casting according to Deadline. Ariana DeBose will star as Anita, Tony Award Winner David Alvarez as Bernardo, and Josh Andres Rivera has been cast as Chino.

Netflix has announced that the Alvarez family is back February 8. 'One Day at a Time,' a reimagining of the iconic Norman Lear sitcom, will return for a 13-episode third season.

TODAY's Al Roker sat down with award-winning actress Rita Moreno to talk about her iconic roles, including her breakout in "West Side Story." Moreno opened up about the good times she's had in Hollywood over the years as well as the rough times she's faced, including harassment because of her ethnicity and some difficult personal relationships.

On this day in 1962, the groundbreaking screen adaptation of Jerome Robbin's West Side Story swept the Academy Awards, taking home a whopping ten wins, including Best Picture. One Day at a Time has been renewed for Season 3. Thirteen half-hour episodes, coming in 2019. At last night's SAG AWARDS, EGOT recipient Rita Moreno presented Morgan Freeman with the 2018 Life Achievement Award. Freeman had presented the same honor to Moreno five years earlier.
