Algiers Will Release New Album 'There is No Year' on Jan. 17

On the back of their much-acclaimed standalone piece “Can The Sub_Bass Speak?,” Algiers will return in 2020 with their third album There Is No Year, set for release January 17 on Matador Records. This latest chapter from the Atlanta via London/NYC four-piece can be previewed now with the video for first single “Dispossession.” KEXP's John Richards premiered the song this morning on “The Morning Show.”

Violet Young Teams Up With Nashville Recording Artist Jadyn Rylee For New Music Video!

Jadyn Rylee, age 13, travelled to NYC to record the title track to The Promise: A Docuseries on Childhood Cancer and collaborated with Violet Young on a cover of the song  Symphony by Clean Bandit and Zara Larrson.   Both videos were Produced by Risk It Productions, LLC, Directed by Kristi Gatto and Brendan Grant as The Director of Photography. The video was filmed in Contra Studios and recorded at Groove Garden.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Tony Award-winning musical The Bridges of Madison County, based on the 1992 bestselling novel by Robert James Waller about love both lost and found. Set amidst the cornfields of Iowa in 1965, this passionate musical follows the unexpected affair of a devoted Italian-born housewife and a roving National Geographic photographer set over four sensual, heart-stirring days. Brilliantly adapted by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Marsha Norman ('night Mother, The Secret Garden, The Color Purple) with music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade), it captured the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical Score. The Bridges of Madison County, directed by TheatreWorks Artistic Director and founder Robert Kelley will be presented April 4 - 29, 2018 (opening night: April 7) at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View. STAGE TUBE: Sneak Peek at A.R.T.'s ALL THE WAY

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University announced today that the run of Robert Schenkkan's new play All The Way, directed by Bill Rauch, is sold out. A limited number of standing room tickets will be sold on the day of each show - in person only and only one ticket per person - at the A.R.T. Ticket Services Office. There will be no standing room for previews, Opening Night, or the final performance. The production begins performances on September 13 and runs through Saturday, October 12.
