The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning series of live high-definition cinema simulcasts, will begin its 14th season on October 12, with the Met's production of Puccini's Turandot, starring Christine Goerke in the title role, led by the Met's Jeanette Lerman-Neubauer Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Baritone Peter Mattei and bass-baritone Luca Pisaroni star as opera's most notorious seducer in Mozart's masterpiece of dark comedy. Cornelius Meister makes his Met debut conducting performances that also include sopranos Rachel Willis-Sørensen and Guanqun Yu as Donna Anna, sopranos Federica Lombardi and Susanna Phillips as Donna Elvira, and basses Ildar Abdrazakov and Adam Plachetka as Leporello.

WGN America has shared a full-length trailer for its intense and gritty original drama OUTSIDERS and announced the highly anticipated series will premiere Tuesday, January 26 at 9 PM ET/PT.

During the season two premiere of WGN America's critically acclaimed series 'Manhattan' lasst night, the network gave viewers a first-look at their upcoming drama, OUTSIDERS (premiering early 2016) with the release of a dramatic first trailer.

Marina Poplavskaya and Peter Mattei take on the roles of the lovestruck Tatiana and the imperious Onegin in Deborah Warner's new production of Tchaikovsky's fateful romance, which opened the Met season in September, directed by Fiona Shaw. Rolando Villazón is Lenski, Onegin's friend-turned-rival, in his first performances on the Met stage since 2009. Russian maestro Alexander Vedernikov makes his company debut on the podium. Star tenor Jonas Kaufmann sings the title role in a new production of Wagner's final masterpiece Parsifal, staged by acclaimed French Canadian director François Girard in his Met debut, on Great Performances at the Met Sunday, July 28 at 12 noon on PBS (check local listings). (In New York, THIRTEEN will air the opera in two parts: Friday, August 16 at 9 p.m. and Friday, August 23 at 9 p.m.)
