The cast of Hamilton has released a new video, encouraging people to vote in the upcoming election. The song is a parody of the musical's opening number, titled 'The Election of 2022', and features lyrics by Ian Weinberger, and vocals from members of the Broadway Company.

The Today Show anchors celebrated the return of Broadway as they each attended the opening nights of Wicked, Hamilton, and The Lion King. As each attended an opening night, they spoke to the stars of each show before curtain.

A star-studded line-up of more than 20 top Chicago stage performers joined Chicago Offstage! Live at Home. Among the stars who appeared during the event was Miguel Cervantes, the star of the Chicago production of Hamilton.

Broadway In Chicago has announced their new social media program, Around Broadway In 80 Days. In the wake of the cancellation of The Jimmy Awards® (the national program) and the Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards (the regional program), the initiative will celebrate and provide a virtual stage for all the participants that were unable to perform in the 2020 IHSMTA event. 

Five years ago, Tony Award winner Idina Menzel made her long-awaited return to Broadway, teaming up with her Rent director Michael Grief for Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's original musical If/Then! Miguel Cervantes, Alexander Hamilton in the Chicago production of HAMILTON, is partnering with Chicago's Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) in a new fundraising campaign to raise money to find a cure for his one-year-old daughter Adelaide, who suffers a rare childhood epilepsy syndrome. At today's #Ham4Ham, Rory O'Malley introduced the Chicago production of Hamilton's leading man, Miguel Cevantes, aka #Hamilvantes! In preparation for his Chicago debut as Alexander Hamilton, Cervantes will play the role on Broadway on July 25.
