Sonia Friedman Productions' UK premiere of Dreamgirls, which opened last December at the Savoy Theatre is currently running through 2nd June 2018 in the West End. From 20th November 2017, Moya Angela will join Marisha Wallace and Karen Mav to play the iconic role of Effie White in Dreamgirls. In the video below, go backstage with the show's new Effies!

Walking into the rehearsal studios at TUTS had a different energy on today. I thought I was at the New 42nd St. Rehearsal Studios in NYC, but I was here in H-Town awaiting the gorgeously talented cast of DREAMGIRLS. The energy was high and every press rep in the room had memories of their first introduction to this fabulous piece of American Musical Theatre. The day began with a brief introduction of the cast by TUTS Artistic Supervisor/ show director, Sheldon Epps.

The long-awaited UK premiere of Dreamgirls opens tonight, Wednesday 14 December at the Savoy Theatre in London, 35 years after originally opening on Broadway. Below, watch highlights just in time for this evening's premiere, plus click here for a new batch of production shots!
