The latest episode of Survival Jobs features the incredibly talented and grounded Mia Gentile,  who shares her journey from working off Broadway to her Broadway debut in ‘KINKY BOOTS’, the importance of mental health awareness in our daily lives and how being a wedding singer ended up being more than just a ‘survival job’ for her. Watch the video!

In response to the violence against black men, women, and children, co-founders Howard and actor Seth Diggs assembled a team of Broadway actors to perform the anthem a?oeTill We Reach That Daya?? from the musical Ragtime (music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens).

Broadway has bid farewell to Tony winning smash, Kinky Boots. Well, we weren't going to let that happen with out inviting the cast to Broadway Sessions for one final strut!!! Cast members gathered to tell stories from their runs in the show (some down right shocking!, ahem Mia Gentile), others so tender. Either way, every musical performance was simply amazing! The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 28 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 11.

Award-winning non-for-profit Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BroadwaySingsForPride.com) held their 6th annual PRIDE benefit concert on Monday, June 20, 2016. To start the night, Daniel Quadrino, from Broadway's Wicked and Newsies, sang 'Imagine' to reflect on the tragedy that happened in Orlando. He was joined onstage by members of the New York community, to echo the sentiment that New York stands behind Orlando and that art can be used to inspire and change minds. KINKY BOOTS star Ellyn Marie Marsh asks, 'What if Adele wrote uptempo songs?' with her new, upbeat, 1950s rendition of the singer's hit 'Hello,' performed as part of Marsh's January 3rd concert -- 'Ellyn Marie Marsh. Live! From Carnegie Hall' -- at Joe's Pub. Check it out below!

Broadway in Bryan Park continued its 2015 program on Thursday - and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the first day. This week's line-up included performances from the casts of BEAUTIFUL, SAYONARA, Kinky Boots AND THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Broadway's celebration of the SCOTUS ruling to legalize gay marriage ranged from in-depth Facebook posts to public speeches. Following Friday night's performance, KINKY BOOTS star Billy Porter took center stage to address the crowd and share what the ruling means to him personally. Check out the full video below!

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held earlier today, May 27th in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. Hosted by HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Darren Criss, Broadway's best turned out for the annual performance - including Kinky Boots' Mia Gentile, who performed 'The History of Wrong Guys'!

The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots is still bringing audiences to their feet nightly at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). The show has enlisted the help of Broadway's favorite pint-sized critic, Iain Armitage, to spread the message of the musical to kids everywhere. On Monday, August 4th, eleven emerging and established Broadway performers starred in Broadway Gets GLAAD, a concert to benefit GLAAD, the leading organization in support of a positive LGBT image in the entertainment industry.
