Hartford Stage will present The Flamingo Kid, which closes the 2018-19 season. Performances for The Flamingo Kid begin on Thursday, May 9, and run through Sunday, June 9.

The Public Theater will begin previews for the North American premiere of GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY on Tuesday, September 11 with a Free First Preview performance. This new musical was initially extended through Sunday, November 18, and has been extended an additional three weeks through Sunday, December 9

The 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert benefit celebration of the 2002 Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Thoroughly Modern Millie was presented last night at The Minskoff Theatre. The concert starred two-time Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster, Tony Award® winner Gavin Creel, Tony Award® winner Harriet Harris and other original cast members for a one-night-only benefit to raise funds for The Actors Fund, the human services organization that helps everyone in entertainment and performing arts.

The event will take place on Monday, February 12 at 7:30 pm at The Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th Street.)

Kicking off the Encores! season is Hey, Look Me Over! (Feb 7 - 11), an original production from the Tony- honored series responsible for bringing classic American musicals back to life since 1994. To celebrate Encores! at 25, Viertel and Encores! Music Director Rob Berman created Hey, Look Me Over!---a collection of opening numbers, grand finales, and other excerpts from beloved shows that have not yet found a berth on the City Center stage. They include: All American, George M!, Greenwillow, Jamaica, Mack & Mabel, Milk and Honey, Sail Away, and Wildcat.

If It Only Even Runs A Minute is the Bistro Award-winning concert series celebrating rare songs, behind-the-scenes tales, and inspiring photos from underappreciated musicals. Created and hosted by Feinstein's/54 Below Creative and Programming Director Jennifer Ashley Tepper and Book of Mormon's Kevin Michael Murphy, with musical direction by Jeremy Robin Lyons, each concert includes performances and stories from original cast members and writers of selected featured shows, as well as new interpretations.

The special event starred John Cariani (Tony nominee, The Band's Visit), Jason Danieley (Drama Desk nominee, The Visit), Santino Fontana (Tony nominee, Cinderella), Marc Kudisch (Tony nominee, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Julia Murney (Drama Desk nominee, The Wild Party), Bryce Pinkham (Tony Nominee, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Andrew Samonksy (Drama Desk nominee, Queen of the Mist) and Mary Testa (Tony nominee & Drama Desk winner, The Portuguese Kid).

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that an NYC reading is underway for The Unsinkable Molly Brown, produced by Roundabout. Beth Malone, who played the title role in both the summer 2017 Muny production and 2014 Denver production, leads the reading in the title role.

With lyrics and music by Meredith Willson, additional lyrics and book by Dick Scanlan, based on the original book by Richard Morris, THE UNSINKABLE Molly Brown will run at The Muny from July 21 to 27, 2017.

On Halloween Night, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presented Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Next To Normal, American Psycho) and three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Hand To God, Finding Neverland) as 'Wendy' and 'Jack' in 'REDRUM: The Shining Parody Unauthorized.'
