TV: Watch Highlights of MTC'S DAN CODY'S YACHT; Opens June 6

Dan Cody's Yacht is now in previews ahead of a Wednesday, June 6 opening night at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The cast of Dan Cody's Yacht features Kristen Bush (Taking Care of Baby at MTC, The City of Conversation), Meredith Forlenza (1984, The Winslow Boy), Laura Kai Chen (Her, "Days of Our Lives"),Rick Holmes (Junk, Peter and the Starcatcher), John Kroft (Dracula), Jordan Lage (Race, Speed-the-Plow), Roxanna Hope Radja (Ruins of Civilization at MTC, Torch Song), and Casey Whyland (Billy Elliot the Musical).

VIDEO: Preview City Center Studio Event - ¡ADELANTE, CUBA! FESTIVAL

New York City Center today announced a studio series of master classes and conversations with artists and other guests as part of the ¡Adelante, Cuba! Festival. This celebration of the rich and vibrant artists of Cuba begins Sunday, April 22, with an evening of music and conversation at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at WNYC & WQXR featuring jazz giant Arturo O'Farrill, tap artist Ayodele Casel, and trumpet player Yasek Manzano Silva. Offering an up-close look at the work of these inspiring artists, the festival also includes intimate conversations, held in City Center's studios, exploring the Cuban American Songbook and what it means to be an Afro-Latin artist today. Master classes for advanced students and professionals will be hosted by dancer Carlos Luis Blanco of Acosta Danza and choreographer Ronald K. Brown (City Center Choreography Fellow), and Arturo O'Farrill and Yazek Manzano Silva will deconstruct Afro-Latin jazz in a master class open to the public to observe.

Friedman Theatre last night, Laura Linney (Time Stands Still, Sight Unseen) and Cynthia Nixon (Rabbit Hole, Wit), who are alternating the roles of Regina and Birdie, appearing opposite each other at every performance, celebrated bringing modern audiences to the new Broadway production of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Two extraordinary actresses return to Manhattan Theatre Club in a vibrant new production of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes. In a thrilling coup, MTC will present three-time Tony Award nominee Laura Linney (Time Stands Still, Sight Unseen) and Tony winner Cynthia Nixon (Rabbit Hole, Wit), who will alternate playing the roles of Regina and Birdie, appearing opposite each other at each performance. Lillian Hellman's legendary play about greed and ambition is set in Alabama in 1900, and follows Regina Giddens and her ruthless clan, including her sister-in-law Birdie, as they clash in often brutal ways in an effort to strike the deal of their lives. Far from a sentimental look at a bygone era, the play has a surprisingly timely resonance with important issues facing our country today. Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof, Rabbit Hole) will direct.

The Manhattan Theatre Club critically acclaimed Broadway transfer of Heisenberg, written by Tony and Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker and Denis Arndt, will start previews Tuesday, September 20 and open Thursday, October 13 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).
