Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT)'s upcoming production of LES MISERABLES, directed by Terrence Mann and starring Mann as Inspector Javert, a role he originated on Broadway and for which he received his first Tony Award-nomination, begins later this month. Performances of LES MISERABLES begin on May 28, 2015 and continue through June 7, 2015 at Connecticut Repertory Theatre's Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre. Today in 1959, The Most Happy Fella opened at City Center where it ran for 16 performances. With a book, music, and lyrics by Frank Loesser, the story isabout a romance between an older man and younger woman, is based on the play They Knew What They Wanted by Sidney Howard. The original Broadway production opened in 1956 and ran for 14 months. A 1992 revival, directed by Gerald Guttierrez, featured Spiro Malas as Tony, Sophie Hayden as Rosabella, Charles Pistone as Joe, Claudia Catania as Marie, Liz Larsen as Cleo, and Scott Waara as Herman.

The London cast of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical sent a video message, including a performance of 'You've Got a Friend,' to the Broadway company ahead of their one year anniversary - check it out below!

Ghostlight Records has announced that the Original Cast Recording of the new Broadway hit Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, can now be pre-ordered on iTunes, in advance of a Tuesday, April 1st digital release. Those who pre-order the album will immediately receive a special advance track of Jessie Mueller's 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow.' The album, produced by Jason Howland, Steve Sidwell and Billy Jay Stein, with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer, will be available in-stores on May 13, 2014 and will include a 28-page color booklet with full lyrics, rare and never-before-seen archival and show photos, and liner notes by Beautiful book writer Douglas McGrath.
