As the contentious year comes to a close, many artists are turning to the holidays as a time to spread rejuvenation and hope. This week, the a cappella group #ChorusCalls, led by former Kinky Boots and Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark cast member Jake Odmark, released a cover of John Lennon's classic call for peace, War is Over.

With a cast featuring Broadway veterans and Music Circus audience favorites, the musical comedy Legally Blonde makes its Music Circus premiere to kick off the 66th season. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, just presented Broadway Rocks Kelly Clarkson a one-night concert featuring Broadway and up-and-coming performers singing their favorite songs by the first American Idol. The show was was directed/produced by Brandon Beynon and Music Directed/Arrangements by Joshua Zecher-Ross, with Micah Burgess (Guitar), Lorenzo Wolff (Bass), Kenny Hildebrandt (Drums).

Last weekend, Feinstein's/54 Below presented BROADWAY ROCKS KELLY CLARKSON, featuring Broadway and up-and-coming performers singing their favorite songs by the first American Idol. As part of the evening, Tony nominee Robin De Jesus joined The Mashup Project's Jen Brissman for a mashup of 'Disaster/Beautiful Disaster.' Check it out below!

The cast and creative team of the hit Off-Broadway musical Murder for Two are teaming up with some of New York's brightest up and coming composers and BroadwayWorld.com every Monday night for their spring concert series, Murderous Musical Mondays. Composers form the Pace New Musicals Writers Room (including Aaron Albert & Katy Rea, Jamen Nanthakumar & Liana Wright-Mark, Kailey Marshall, Ian Fairlee, and John-Michael Lyles & David Gomez) contined the series on Monday night, April 21, 2014, immediately following the 7pm performance of Murder for Two at New World Stages (Stage 5 - 340 West 50th Street).
