Just before ON THE TOWN began previews on Broadway, the show's cast and creative team gathered at Ars Nova for the kind of comic relief that only Jackie Hoffman can provide. No one is safe in this uproarious, very special edition of Hoffman's one-woman show! BroadwayWorld brings you Episode 1, 'I Was the First Choice,' below.

ON THE TOWN firt premiered on the Great White Way 70 years ago and is now enjoying a successful revival on Broadway. TODAY's Sheinelle Jones joined the production's choreographer and dancers this morning to take a shot at learning the show's difficult choreograph.

Just last week, On the Town returned to Broadway in a revival directed by John Rando, which is running at the Lyric Theatre. Before Alysha Umphress and Jay Armstrong Johnson took on the iconic roles of Hildy and Chip, Lea DeLaria and Jesse Tyler Ferguson played them in the 1998 Broadway revival. The Muny presents the seventh and final show of its 96th season, Hello, Dolly!, directed by Rob Ruggiero, choreographed by Ralph Perkins, with music direction by James Moore. The show opens tonight, August 11, and runs through August 17, 2014. Below, meet returning star Rob McClure, who will play Cornelius Hackl!

The Broadway transfer of the Kennedy Center's acclaimed production of James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES, directed by Eric Schaeffer, with choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by James Moore, began previews on Sunday, August 7, 2011 and open on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Marquis Theatre.
