Get ready, sports fans, for the most competitive season of 'Dancing with the Stars' ever as the show fires up the scoreboard and welcomes 10 athletes to sparkle up their uniforms and lace up their dancing shoes as they ready themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, on the season premiere of 'Dancing with the Stars: Athletes,'MONDAY, APRIL 30 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. This season's lineup of athletes includes three Olympic figure skaters, a former Los Angeles Lakers superstar, an Olympic gold medal-winning softball player, a Notre Dame women's basketball national championship hero, an American luger, a gold medal-winning Olympic snowboarder, a former World Series-winning Major League Baseball player and an NFL cornerback.

It was Halloween Night on last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS and the remaining celebrity dancers certainly got into the spirit of the holiday!

The nine remaining celebrities transformed into some of the most magical Disney characters and celebrated the magnificence of “Disney Night,” on last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS.  

The 24th season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars kicked off Monday night with new celebrities, including Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei with Valentin Chmerkovskiy; Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan with Artem Chigvintsev; actor Chris Kattan with Witney Carson; rodeo professional Bonner Bolton with Sharna Burgess; Charo with Keo Motsepe; The Bachelor's Nick Viall with Peta Murgatroyd; Glee's Heather Morris with Maksim Chmerkovskiy; Baseball player David Ross with Lindsay Arnold; Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Erika Jayne with Gleb Savchenko; NFL star Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater; A Team star Mr. T with Kym Herjavec and Gold Medal Olympic gymnast Simone Biles with Sasha Farber.

LMFAO superstar Redfoo and his partner, Emma Slater were the first to be eliminated form the news season of DANCING WITH THE STARS last night.

The finale also featured musical appearances by pop superstar MEGHAN TRAINOR, NICK JONAS, singing his hit single 'Jealous,' and Grammy-winning artist JENNIFER HUDSON and GORGON CITY, performing 'Go All Night.'

For the Freestyle round, Corbin and Karina chose to dance to the Michael Jackson classic, 'Smooth Criminal' The couple worked with the KIng of Pop's choreographer, himself, Travis Payne. The routine they choreographed was extremely exciting but equally as risky.

Amber and Derek have led the competition in cumalative scores throughout the competition. For the free style number, the couple decided to use Amber's step dance experience for a country western themed performance.

In the second round of DANCING WITH THE STARS last night the remaining eight dancers were put into two teams two face off and earn additional points. Check out both team performances below!

On last night's DANCING WITH THE STAR, contestant Katherine Jenkins appeared overcome with emotion at the conclusion of her dance with partner Mark Ballas. It remained unclear if the opera star was disappointed by her performance or crying out of pain.
