MCC Theater will soon present the fourth show of its 2017-18 season: the World Premiere production of Transfers, written by MCC Theater's Youth Company Playwriting Lab Director and Obie Award winner Lucy Thurber, and directed by Jackson Gay.

The World Premiere of the Broadway-bound Allegiance - A New American Musical ended its extended run at San Diego's Old Globe on October 28, 2012. The musical starred television and film icon George Takei, Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga and Broadway favorite Telly Leung. The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice, will celebrate the 10th annual International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Wednesday, September 19th, with a special "Stache Day" in honor of their own pirate, Black Stache. On the morning of September 19th, the first 100 fans in line at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) with mustaches (real or fake!) will receive one free ticket for that evening's performance.
