Suzanna has performed in Manhattan at TOMI Jazz Club, Cafe Noctambulo/Pangea, and Mondays at Kitano Hotel's Jazz Club. She has also performed at cultural venues including the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning.  

Today, being Saturday, we chose a cartoon. A REALLY POPULAR cartoon. The song in the video clip is 'Christmas Time Is Here' from A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS. The animated television special first aired on December 9, 1965 and was based on the famous characters in Charles M. Schulz' syndicated comic strip, PEANUTS. The comic strip began in 1950 and remained wildly popular until the year 2000.

On May 8, The Library of Congress kicked off a series of events honoring Grammy- and Academy-Award-winning songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David, recipients of the 2012 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, culminating a special tribute delivered by President Barack Obama. The prize commemorates George and Ira Gershwin, the legendary American songwriting team whose extensive collection resides in the Library of Congress. The legendary Barbra Streisand was honored by the Recording Academy as the MusiCares Person of the Year on February 11 at a dinner and concert.
