Producer Corky Hale's I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU - The Life and Lyrics of Al Dubin, features lyrics by Al Dubin, most music by Harry Warren, a book by Jerry Leichtling and Arlene Sarner, and musical direction by Gerald Sternbach.  The production is directed and choreographed by  Kay Cole.  BroadwayWorld TV's own LA on-air Host Michael Sterling was invited to take a sneak peek at rehearsals last week and interview some of the show's stars and creative team.

Performances begin May 15th. Lindsay Pearce (soon to be on ABC Family's upcoming show 'Recovery Road,' and of 'Glee' fame) and Payson Lewis (bare, 'The Sing Off') recorded a cover of Green Day's 'Basket Case' (off of their Dookie album) in promotion of tickets going on sale for the show. NO HOMO sweeps the Hollywood Fringe Festival Closing Night Awards, winning The Golden Elephant Award for Golden Playwright (Brandon Baruch); the Ezra Buzzington Spirit of the Fringe Award for Best Director (Jessica Hanna); the Fringe Freak Award for Best in Ensemble Theater; the Fringe Freak Award for Fringe First - Best World Premiere; and garnering nominations for The Golden Elephant Award for Golden Production; The O-Face Award for Most Orgasmic Playwright (Brandon Baruch); The Ezra Buzzington Spirit of the Fringe Award for Best Playwright (Brandon Baruch); and The Fringe Freak Award for Top of Fringe.

In an attempt to prove that Washington, D.C. isn't the only town that rewards malfeasance, Center Theatre Group is celebrating Los Angelenos' wrong-doings and missteps by asking all residents to search their consciences for the worst things that they have ever done, and submit said misdeeds now through December 23 to win a package of prizes. The holiday prize pack includes two tickets to see The Second City's "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, a gift certificate to the local restaurant Ugo Culver City and all the Tiny Timtinis and Scrooge Drivers you can drink **.
