Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, otherwise known as the Skivvies, returned to Feinstein's/54 Below last night with their signature 'undie-rock,' and as usual, a slew of all-star guests. The Skivvies and Tony winner Laura Benanti have joined the good fight against cell phone usage in the theatre with a new song, aptly titled 'Look Up.' Written by Benanti, the number 'provides musical advice to audience members tempted to use mobile devices during a performance.'

The Skivvies (the undie-rock comedy-pop duo of Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley) just kicked off their monthly residency at 42West with Splashdance- featuring an all-star line up of guest artists from the worlds of Broadway, Television and Film. The first concert took place last night, with guest stars James Carpinello (Rock of Ages), Phillipa Soo (Hamilton, Natasha Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812), Adam Kantor (Rent, Next to Normal) Jessica Vosk (The Bridges of Madison County), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Chicago), Natalie Tenenbaum, Ephraim Sykes (Motown, Newsies, Memphis), Zak Resnick (Piece of my Heart, Mamma Mia!), Robyn Anderson, and many more. Just last week, The Skivvies returned to 54 Below, back by popular demand. The 'musically thrilling' undie-rock, comedy-pop duo don't just strip down their musical arrangements, they literally strip down to their underwear to perform their distinctive mashups and eccentric originals for cello and ukulele, with touches of glockenspiel, melodica, and a surprising array of under-used instruments. Laura Benanti performs with The Skivvies (Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley) as 'Sexy Fosca' from Sondheim's 'Passion.' The mashup includes Sondheim's 'I Read', 'Loving You', 'No One Has Ever Loved Me', Beyonce's 'Pretty Hurts', Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful', and James Blunt's 'Beautiful.'
