Kinky Boots released a sneak peek into their rehearsal room as they prepare to return to the stage beginning on July 26th at off-Broadway’s Stage 42. The video features a behind the scenes look as the company prepares to put the boots on once again, as well as interviews with select company members about the show’s impact and the journey of bringing the uplifting story back to NYC.   

Megyn Kelly TODAY welcomes Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, who talk about teaming up on the Tony-winning Broadway musical “Kinky Boots,” now marking five years on Broadway. Lauper reminisces about iconic hits like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “True Colors,” which is now the name of her fund for LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness.

The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice, will celebrate the 10th annual International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Wednesday, September 19th, with a special "Stache Day" in honor of their own pirate, Black Stache. On the morning of September 19th, the first 100 fans in line at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) with mustaches (real or fake!) will receive one free ticket for that evening's performance.

Producers Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum and Allan S. Gordon have announced that the landmark musical Rent will open in a new, off-Broadway production on Thursday, August 11 at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street, Between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. Previews begin Thursday, July 14.
