Everyone's favourite magical nanny, Mary Poppins, is back in this award-winning musical adaptation of the P.L.Travers novel and beloved Disney film. Featuring many of the most popular songs composed by the Sherman brothers, this blockbuster musical is, for many, a wonderfully nostalgic trip down memory to see a favourite childhood movie in the flesh.

Peckhamplex Cinema (95A Rye Lane, Peckham, London SE15 4ST) will present MATTHEW BOURNE'S THE CAR MAN tonight, March 2 at 7 p.m., featuring a Q&A with the creator after the screening.

Recently knighted and internationally acclaimed choreographer Matthew Bourne's stunning dance thriller, The Car Man, will be released in cinemas across the UK from 1 March 2016. Performed by Matthew Bourne's Dance Company, New Adventures, the award-winning The Car Man is loosely based on Bizet's popular opera (CARMEN) and has one of the most thrilling and instantly recognisable scores in classical music, brilliantly arranged by Terry Davies. Disney and Cameron Mackintosh are delighted to announce additional dates for the UK and Ireland tour of their multi award-winning musical MARY POPPINS, starring Zizi Strallen as 'Mary Poppins' and Matt Lee as 'Bert'.  In addition to the previously announced dates, MARY POPPINS will also play the Alhambra Theatre Bradford from 2 November - 10 December 2016 and Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff from 14 December 2016 - 14 January 2017. New Adventures are delighted to announce that a new HD film of Matthew Bourne's internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning dance thriller "THE CAR MAN" will be screened on Sky Arts onMONDAY 3 AUGUST at 8.00PM. 

The revival of THE CAR MAN at Sadler's Wells from Tuesday 14 July to Sunday 9 August 2015 marks the first time the production has been staged in eight years.

The second UK tour of MARY POPPINS has found its leading lady! The Daily Mail writes that Zizi Strallen will take on the title role in the production, which kicks off at the Leicester Curve on October 13, 2015. Strallen will be joined onstage by Matt Lee as 'Bert'.
