Global Superstar Christina Aguilera Joins Emmy-Winning RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE Season 10 Premiere

Six-time Grammy Award-winning singer Christina Aguilera joins host RuPaul to kick-off the milestone season 10 premiere of Emmy® Award-winning “RuPaul's Drag Race,” on Thursday, March 22 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. The season will feature all 90-minute episodes and will be followed by “RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked” after show at 9:30 PM ET/PT.

VH1 today revealed the cast for the milestone 10th season of Emmy(R) Award-winning 'RuPaul's Drag Race.' The newest queens vying for the title of 'America's Next Drag Superstar' were announced during tonight's episode of 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars,' followed by a Facebook Live that introduced fans to the 14 competitors. The supersized season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' premieres on Thursday, March 22 at 8:00 PM ET/PT and will feature 90-minute episodes, giving fans more fashion, lip-syncs and drag than ever before. The Emmy(R) Award-nominated after-show 'RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked' will premiere immediately following at 9:30 PM ET/PT.

2nd Annual Asian Burlesque Spectacular Set for 5/16 at DROM

Following the huge success of their first event, Calamity Chang (NYCs very own "Asian Sexsation!" www.CalamityChang.com), Sukki Singapora ("The World's First Burlesque Performer from Singapore") and Jen (Thirsty Girl) Gapay (one of the "Biggest producers in Burlesque" www.thenewyorkburlesquefestival.com) are reuniting for their second annual installment of THE ASIAN BURLESQUE SPECTACULAR. The event, which is the biggest Asian burlesque show ever held, will feature a host of international talent from New York to Tokyo, promising an exciting new line up in homage to the Asian legends and icons of Burlesque.

New York Public Library Hosts GROWING UP GONZALEZ Pop-Up Performance Today, 6/2

The New York Public Library (NYPL) and Souleo Enterprises LLC, an event/media production company, have formed a partnership to provide adult library patrons with an exciting line-up of artistic/cultural, LGBT and financial literacy summer programming, beginning June 2012. Highlighting the evolving role of libraries as educational culture hubs, programming includes improv performances by the National Comedy Theater; make-up makeovers by NYC's top drag queens such as Hedda Lettuce; a panel on LGBT hip-hop; celebrity impersonators discussing diva worship; music industry veterans Meli'sa Morgan, Full Force and Christopher "Play" Martin discussing overcoming financial struggles; a master class in career reinvention by George C. Fraser; interactive workshops featuring the iconic drag entertainer John Epperson (Lypsinka's Maid); a fashion reinvention design workshop with Beau McCall; and much more. This sassy elimination competition on Wednesday nights features themed performances, ruthlessly scrutinized by a rotating panel of celebrity judges, at the Time Out New York Lounge at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues). This week's judges were fabulous Charles Busch and the extraordinary cast of The Divine Sister, now playing Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse.
