YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents the world premiere of COMPULSION by Rinne Groff, directed by Oskar Eustis, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street, New Haven) January 29-February 28. Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

Playwrights Horizons has announced complete casting for the World Premiere of CLYBOURNE PARK, a new play by Bruce Norris (The Pain and the Itch at Playwrights Horizons/PH 2006-2007 Season).

The Queen's Company, NYC's acclaimed all-female classical theater company, is proud to present a rare revival of Susanna Centlivre's luscious classic comedy of intrigue, The Wonder, directed by The Queen's Company Artistic Director Rebecca Patterson. The Wonder runs from February 26 - March 14, 2010 in a limited engagement at The Kirk Theater, located in the Theatre Row Complex at 410 West 42 Street between 9 & 10 Avenues in NYC. The play previews on February 26 for a February 27 opening.

Theatre stars Dee Hoty, Jenn Colella and Vince Gatton join the previously announced Amy Acker and Larry Pine in The Boomerang Theatre Company's reading of THE MONSTER TALES by Mary Jett Parsley Wrenn on February 1st, 2010. Cailin Heffernan will helm the event.

Steppenwolf ensemble member and acclaimed actress Joan Allen will be the inaugural honoree at Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts: an annual luncheon forum on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 12:00 pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. The up-and-coming playwright and performer Katori Hall has been selected winner of the 2010 William Inge Theatre Festival's Otis Guernsey New Voices in the American Theatre Award. Hall will be presented with the award during the 29th Annual Inge Festival April 21-24 in Independence, Kansas, at Independence Community College.

WeildWorks is pleased to announce the New York Premiere of Fêtes de la Nuit, Charles L. Mee's sexy meditation on lust, beauty and the divine experience of love. Fêtes de la Nuit is directed and choreographed by Kim Weild, who incorporates American Sign Language into a production that features three Deaf actors.

Two-time Emmy Award-winning comedy writer Rachel Axler will make her off Broadway playwriting debut at the NEA-rejected Women's Project with Smudge, a dark comedy directed by Pam MacKinnon about the changing face of the American family and the limits of love and cheesecake. Smudge features Cassie Beck, Greg Keller and Brian Sgambati.

Following the record-breaking and critically acclaimed engagement of 'American Idiot' at the Berkeley Rep, the production is now Broadway-bound. 'American Idiot' will begin previews in March 2010 and open on Broadway in April at the St. James Theatre. The Broadway cast will be announced shortly.
