Theater for the New City is pleased to announce that Charles Busch's new comedy THE DIVINE SISTER will play a limited premiere showcase engagement at Theater for the New City's Cino Theater (155 First Avenue). The developmental production, directed by Busch's longtime collaborator Carl Andress (The Third Story; Die, Mommie, Die!) will play a limited engagement of 24 performances from Saturday, February 6 through Sunday, March 7.

Steppenwolf ensemble member and acclaimed actress Joan Allen will be the inaugural honoree at Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts: an annual luncheon forum on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 12:00 pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. Steppenwolf Artistic Director and ensemble member Martha Lavey will conduct an engaging interview with Ms. Allen, in a format similar to Inside the Actors Studio, at this exciting new fundraising event.

Hamingson, Executive Director), and BERKELEY REPERTORY THEATRE (Tony Taccone, Artistic Director; Susan Medak, Managing Director) present the world premiere of COMPULSION by Rinne Groff, directed by Oskar Eustis, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street, New Haven) January 29-February 28. Opening Night is Thursday, February 4.

Bleecker Street Opera's production of 'THE BARBER OF SEVILLE' will close on January 31.

Hoi Polloi Three Pianos runs February 25-March 20, 2010, performed everyday except Mondays and Wednesdays at 8p.m.
