I knew that Steve Tyrell who's appearing in the Cafe was selling out, and it was a difficult ticket but this wasSunday night his day off. I guess it was to control the entry into Bemelmans where Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch have been entertaining overflow crowds. Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the world's longest running musical revue, rings in the new year with two special performances on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Two comedies and a comedy legend will comprise the St. James Theatre's programme from January to May 2015.

Following a critically acclaimed run at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe, William Gaminara's comedy The Three Lionsreturns for a national tour and run at St. James Theatre, London. The production begins its tour at Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford (2 - 7 March 2015), before travelling to the New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich (9 - 14 March 2015) and Liverpool Playhouse (16 - 21 March), ahead of a six week run at St James Theatre. There it will open on 26 March, with previews from 24 March, and run until 2 May. Philip Wilson directs Dugald Bruce-Lockhart, Tom Davey and Sean Browne - recreating their roles of David Beckham, David Cameron and Prince William from the original run.

New York City Ballet's annual Fall Gala will once again celebrate ballet and fashion with a program that will include three world premiere ballets by Justin Peck, Liam Scarlett, and Troy Schumacher, as well as existing works by Peter Martins and Christopher Wheeldon, all featuring costumes designed by an international roster of some of the fashion world's most renowned talents: Thom Browne, Sarah Burton, Valentino Garavani, Carolina Herrera, and Mary Katrantzou. The one- time-only gala evening will take place tonight, September 23, 2014, opening New York City Ballet's four-week Fall Season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.
