Producer of the upcoming live action Aladdin film, Dan Lin, recently discussed the film with Variety. When asked about the new songs, he mentioned that one will be like an 'anthem' for Jasmine. He also discussed the spin that Will Smith puts on the role of the genie.

Multi-platinum R&B group B2K (Omarion, Boog, Fizz and Raz-B), will kick off a limited engagement tour in March, entitled "The Millennium Tour". The iconic group along with special guests Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy, and Bobby V - will visit over 25 cities across the U.S. The tour is produced by G-Squared Events in association with Omarion Worldwide, Hall of Fame Entertainment, and Blvd. Music.

Today, dick clark productions and ABC announced one of the world's best-selling pop music icons, Christina Aguilera, will perform for a live audience of more than one million people just minutes before the ball drops on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2019." Aguilera last performed on the show in 2007, and this year she will be joined by Bastille, Dan + Shay and New Kids On The Block in the hours leading up to the 2019 countdown. This marks multiplatinum artists Dan + Shay's first appearance on the show, and Bastille's second, while pop super group New Kids On The Block will take the New Year's Rockin' Eve stage for the second time-having last performed in 2011 with Backstreet Boys. America's biggest celebration of the year will take place on MONDAY, DEC. 31, beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST on the ABC Television Network. Additional performers will be announced soon.

American actress Johnetta Eula'Mae Ackles makes her professional stage debut in Martin McDonagh's A Very Very Very Dark Matter at the Bridge Theatre, playing the captive Congolese woman who supplies writer Hans Christian Andersen with all his stories. 

No holiday season is complete without a viewing of the holiday classic A CHRISTMAS CAROL by Charles Dickens. Sioux Empire Community Theatre's (SECT) staging of the festive show opened on Thursday night at The Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Sioux Falls.

Leapin' lizards! Annie, one of America's favorite spunky little redheads is coming to King Ave Players. Set during the depression, orphan Annie is determined to find her parents. In this fun-filled musical, Annie foils evil schemes, befriends the President and finds and new family for herself and her lovable mutt, Sandy. Annie boasts one of Broadway's most memorable scores with songs including "Hard Knock Life," "Easy Street" and "Tomorrow." Bet your bottom dollar you won't want to miss this family-friendly musical. Performances Thur Nov 8th - Sat Nov 10th @ 7:30 and Sun Nov 11th at 3:00 pm. Free childcare is available during the Friday evening and Sunday matinee performances. Performance is at King Avenue United Methodist Church, 299 King Ave., Columbus, OH. Admission is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged

THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS will be anchored by ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT host Kevin Frazier and correspondent Keltie Knight, live from New York City Thursday, Nov. 22 on the CBS Television Network. The parade will be broadcast 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, live ET/8:00-11:00 AM, live CT/7:00-10:00 AM, live MT/1:00 PM-4:00 PM, delayed PT.

Will Smith took to Instagram today to share the poster from the upcoming live-action adaptation of 'Aladdin.' Smith stars as Genie in the film, and in his caption he proclaims 'LEMME OUT!!' The movie is set to release in summer 2019. 

dick clark productions today announced "AMAs Red Carpet Live presented by Security Benefit," the official pre-show for the "2018 American Music Awards." Jessie James Decker, Scott Evans, AJ Gibson, Erika Jayne, Laura Marano and Zach Sang will host. The two-hour pre-show will stream LIVE from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 9 starting at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT, and the pre-show will stream live on the official American Music Awards YouTube channel (YouTube.com/TheAMAs).
