INTO THE WOODS Opens At The Barn Players 1/7

An ambivalent Cinderella? A blood-thirsty Little Red Ridinghood? A Prince Charming with a roving eye? A Witch...who raps? They're all among the cockeyed characters in James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's fractured fairy tale.

Performance Network Theatre announces it's production of 'The War Since Eve,' by Michigan playwright, Kim Carney. This World Premiere comedy will open in previews on January 13 and runs through February 13. 'Eve' is directed by PNT Artistic Director, David Wolber, and features Henrietta Hemelin, Sarab Kamoo ('Sonia Flew') and Leah Smith.

Putnam in downtown Williamston, is thrilled to announce the World Premiere of It Came From Mars by Joseph Zettelmaier. Tickets for this outrageous out-of-this-world comedy are now on sale. This Limited Engagement of It Came From Mars begins with a special Wednesday Preview at eight o'clock March 31. The Official Opening Night is Thursday, April 1 with the show scheduled to run through Sunday, April 18. Performances will run Thursday and Friday evenings at eight o'clock, Saturday matinees at three o'clock and evenings at eight o'clock, and Sunday matinees at two o'clock. Please note there will be no performances on Sunday, April 4.

It is directed by WT Artistic Director Tony Caselli (A PICASSO).'It Came From Mars,' which is featured in the February issue of American Theatre Magazine, is a hilarious comedy about a troupe of radio actors terrified by Orson Welles'War of the Worlds broadcast.

The show began previews April 23 and runs through May 24, 2009. The cast also includes Sheila Slaughter, Julian Gant, Michael Joseph and James Bowen, who are all making their Performance Network debut.
